Your success at Salish Kootenai College and beyond is very important to us. We will do all that we can to provide you with the right opportunities and support to ensure your success here. Being proactive leads to success! Plan ahead of time.

Utilize your advisor. They offer support, advice, and direction.

Believe in yourself and be prepared to work hard.

Realize that a successful college career requires hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. It’s preparing you for your future career.

College can be exhausting, need a break? Check out our new student union in the Robert DePoe III Building.

Syllabi can actually be very helpful. Check them out to stay on top of course work and requirements.

Staying focused takes effort. Silence your phone or put it out of sight when studying. Turning your phone off during class not only helps you stay focused, but your classmates and instructors too.

Setting aside certain times to study can keep you on track. The library is a great resource for studying. Check out their hours, which extend to fit your schedule during midterms and finals week.

It’s important to remember why you started to keep you motivated during stressful times.

There are many resources on campus for support; you are not alone. Reach out to student success coaches, the SKC Center for Prevention and Wellness, student support services, and more.
